Friday at 5am: No, please. It can’t be time to get up. However, I got up.
6am: Fed the cats, had a cup of java. I think I might lay down for another hour.
715am: Doggone it. Now I have to get up.
The Oh Wow cat is outside, and nowhere in sight.
Guess he wants to hang out on this pleasant spring day in April.
I am feeling quite foggy.
Not really with it today.
And wouldn’t you know it? Issues pending at work.
Took me all morning to resolve.
Then, the afternoon came along.
What a loooooooooooooooong afternoon.
Seems like the rest of the world has gone home, on this Good Friday.
At 5pm, no traffic.
Ghost town, on NE Pennsylvania roads.
Stopped to chat with Bryan, have a couple of orange drinks, and started ranting about politics.
Not a smart move.
Not with the ultimate Trump supporter.
What is done, is done.
Changed the subject and ended the brief interlude with laughter and nonsense.
As I drove up the driveway, I spotted Oh Wow, on the deck, crying.
I let him in, but had to stop to admire my freshly mowed lawn.
Thank goodness for friends.
Tonight, the little goof, Puff Daddy, is happy her brother is home.
She gets lonely when he isn’t here.
And Oh Wow? Well, he is hungry as a bear and twice as big.
Time for me to change into my jams and decide what my priorities are for the weekend.
Wishing everyone a very happy Easter!
Could someone please tell me what the heck I am gonna do with the free ham my grocery store has waiting for me?
Anyone need a ham?
