Tragic things happen.

Yesterday?

He was fine.

Today?

He is in intensive care.

The old adages are true:

One never knows when your life will change forever…in a twinkling of an eye.

Live today.

Enjoy it when you can.

Tomorrow is not promised.

Surround yourself with people you enjoy.

Laugh.

Get silly.

Have fun.

Of course, most of us have to work, and that is the way the world is.

If you enjoy your work, fabulous.

If not, get the heck out.

Living is not just partying.

It is a moment to moment experience.

Connecting with people, friends, family and yes, even strangers, is what makes it worthwhile.

When the day turns into evening, enjoy some time alone, reflecting.

As you know, you will, in the end, wake up with yourself.

I hope to run into you, to get to know you, to listen to your story, and to laugh with you, before my time is up.

A tragic lesson to be learned:

My friend was fine yesterday, going about life.

Today?

Not so much.

Life is like that, I guess.

Fleeting.

Changing.

Tragic.

Yet beautiful.

Don’t miss out on today.

Tomorrow may never come.
