My 3 favorite addictions

Welcome to day 58 of the incarceration. Keeping in the spirit of fabulous facts about the number 58, the chemical element with the atomic number 58 is cerium. It is a soft, ductile metal that tarnishes when exposed to air, and it is soft enough to be cut with a knife.

Going one step further, cerium is used in the manufacture of alloys for cigarette lighters. Hmm. I guess it could be used for lighting up other things…

One of my favorite days of the week: Wednesday or better known as: There goes that goof walking down her driveway in her pjs again. Yes, it is pickup day for Waste Mgt. My how time flies when one stays home.

I wore my lovely mask at the grocery store today. What a crazy difference it makes. I am an overly friendly, obnoxious person who loves to meet and greet others, with a smile. No one can see my smile. Actually the people all looked the same: Grouchy. Even when I said something, like “What a beautiful day” no responses. Ok one response. He was the store monitor, making sure that all these crabby appletons entered one door and exited at another. I had the feeling that the poor guy was bored out of his mind, and needed to see if his voice still worked. It did, as he yelled at me for going out the wrong door.

Have I mentioned? I love being a trouble maker.

I can’t wait to eat all the essential food I got: Cherries, walnut muffins, and hot chocolate. Sissy Belle presented me with a bottle of Rum Chata, my favorite, especially paired with hot chocolate. I might have one very soon, after the Gov of NY finishes his web cast. He is my latest addiction. Well, he is still in third place, after rum chata and 2 dogs, Clover and GeoMax.

My wish for everyone today? To enjoy life. Regardless of our discomfort, life is a magical, mysterious existence, meant to be enjoyed in the moment.
